I wonder what life would be

Without the beauty of a flower

Or never to meet our soul mate

Never to know love's power.

No moon to touch a lover's face

No stars to beautify the night

What could be more dreadful

Without sun to furnish us light.

If rain clouds stop developing

If rain no longer fell from the sky

Would God give us rain again

Or let everything on earth die.

With these thoughts in my mind

I realize how lucky each of us are

We have this beautiful earth home

Perhaps somewhere our own star.
